Merlion

This is a photograph of the Merlion. This statue was built because the Sumatran prince saw a ferocious beast that was half lion and half fish. Now it is a very important tourist spot.

Durian

The durian is called the king of the fruits. It is also known as Durian Merah. It smells very bad too. The durian can grow up to 30cm. Singaporeans say that it is very nice.

Deepavali

Deepavali is a festival celebrated by a lot of Indians. It is based on the great epic “The Ramayana”. It is about the god Rama and his life in his kingdom, Ayodhya. Deepavali is celebrated because Rama returns from his exile of fourteen years to rule Ayodhya. It is a very important festival for Indians.

Chilli Crab

Chilli Crab is the number one Dish for Singaporean People in Singapore. People like chili Crab because Chinese people like spicy things and I myself also like Chilli Crab. The best place in Singapore is a Jumbo Seafood Restaurant. Chili Crab is about a 10-20 Cm long. They are almost bigger then a plate.
